Software Engineer (Addison, TX), NAVOINFO, INC.:

Job Title: Software Engineer - Full Time

Required Experience: 5 Years

- Develop ETL dataflow with mapping, session, and workflow.

- Prioritize and create stories/tasks in JIRA.

- Production Environment monitoring, failure handling, troubleshooting issues.

- Analysis and resolution of production Incidents, Log all dialogues/analysis in the ticket.

- Identify recurring issues and fixing them by working with the respective stakeholders and have the temporary workaround in place to avoid failures for the known issues until there is a permanent fix in place in production.

- Identify performance bottlenecks in long running jobs using monitoring tools like IBM TWS.

- Use DevOps tools GITLAB and Jenkins for deployments.

- Work with Architects, QA team and UAT users.

- Help with L3/L4 support activities.

- Manage multiple work efforts including HPSM and SNOW tickets, Coding Request issues, Root cause analysis and Escalated workarounds.

- Develop ETL dataflows with mapping, sessions, and workflow, using Informatica and Teradata tools, fast load, TPT, multiload.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Applications, Computer Technology or a related field with 5 years of experience as a Consultant, IT Analyst, Developer, Software Engineer or related occupation.
